How to get to Corcuera

By Air

  • If you’re in Manila and plan to travel by air, you may board a plane bound for Tugdan airport in TablasIsland, Romblon. The air travel will take you less than an hour and from Tugdan airport it will take you an hour drive to Calatrava. Calatrava is one hour by pump boat from Corcuera. Regular trips between the two towns are daily from 8:00AM to 11:00 AM.

By Sea

  • If you would like to take the boat, you may board a bus for Batangas City Pier. There is a regular 10-hour daily trip except Tuesday bound for Odiongan, Romblon at 5:00PM by the Montenegro Lines. From Odiongan is a two-hour travel by jeepney or bus to Calatrava leaving enough time for the 11:00AM pump boat trip to Corcuera.
  • At Batangas City Pier, there is also a big pump boat plying the Batangas-Corcuera route. M/B Richard departs at 5:00AM every Tuesday. This is a less expensive route and the boat will take you direct to Corcuera in 8 to 9 hours of sea travel.
  • Mindoro - Corcuera route - From Batangas City Pier, board a Ferry to Calapan Port. From Calapan ride a van to Pinamalayan then grab a Tricycle to Pili port. Motorboat Schedule from Pinamalayan to Simara: Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 8:00 AM
  • There are other routes to Corcuera a sign that the island is becoming a worthwhile destination.
